If you’re a fan of anime you’re likely to find that you’ve been waiting for updates about Demon Slayer Season 3. The season’s release was announced just after the airing of the final episode of the entertainment district episode but there’s been no major announcements since. However, after months of waiting the trailer from Season 3 has been released on the official Youtube channel of Aniplex and provides the release date of April 2023. We don’t know about the exact date for release however it is possible that more information will be revealed at the 2023 Jump Festival which is scheduled for December 17th-18th, and will bring significant updates to a variety of anime, including Demon Slayer.
Fuji TV will air the new season exclusively for Japanese viewers, while Netflix as well as Crunchyroll will offer it for international viewers. The exact episode count for Season 3 isn’t known at this time however, the creators have revealed that the premiere episode will be a one-hour long special. A special event dubbed “World Tour Screening” will also be taking place in over 418 theaters across Japan and in 80 countries starting February 3rd. The next season will bring Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inouske stronger and reveal new skills and the truth about Nezuko.
