The Bad Batch season 2, Star Wars animation, premieres its second season in January 4. This tantalizing update is fresh from the D23 Expo in California. It was shared to the Internet via Twitter. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the first episode will be released next year.
At the exhibition, The Bad Batch season 2 creator Dave Filoni stated that season 2 will consist of 16 episodes.
Let’s go back to the original renewal of the show for Disney+. Michael Paull, president of Disney Streaming shared the following statement: “Fans have enthusiastically embraced Star Wars The Bad Batch,. We are excited to continue expanding the Star Wars animated universe on Disney+.
“As the exclusive streaming home for the Star Wars franchise we are excited for the second season.”
The story concerns a group of genetically modified clone troopers known as the Bad Batch who are enlisted in mercenary missions after the Clone Wars.
Tales of the Jedi were also unveiled at D23 Expo. Here’s a teaser trailer.
Six shorts are divided into two ‘paths’. The first shows the Jedi warrior Ahsoka Ta, while the second shows a young Count Dooku as he transitions into the dark side.
Every episode will be available online on Disney+ starting Wednesday October 26.
