A brand new picture of the set has been revealed to give a first glimpse at the second season of the Netflix series Nick Heartstopper.
The picture depicts Nick Nelson actor Kit Connor and Charlie Spring star Joe Locke in a dining room inside Paris among other places.
In the photo the cute couple are both dressed in summer attire comprised of shorts and T-shirts as they look at a man who is sitting next to them.
This LGBTQ+ drama, which centers around Nick the love of Charlie’s story, has recently began filming following the conclusion of season 2 , 3 and 4 of the show were confirmed in May.
Season 2 is expected to include the return of Nick and Charlie’s companions Elle (played by Yasmin Finney), Tao (William Gao), Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) and also returning Olivia Colman as Nicks mum.
Kit Connor recently shared his expectations for the future, saying: “In terms of, I guess the things I’d love to see happen for Nick I would like to see is the development in Nick and Charlie’s bond. In the first season we are able to glimpse the young love and the beginnings of their relationship.
“And I’m thinking it would be wonderful to not just to be a part of it – but as well, to watch and also, their relationship kind of become stronger and grow.”
This calendar year Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman told what she wanted to incorporate into future shows.
“[Icertainly want to] include the subject of mental health because this is a huge topic in the literature,” she said. Nick Heartstopper
“The difficulty to write Heartstopper involves to explore these darker topics while still remaining positive and optimistic. It’s been, as the battle to write it for me all the length of it.”
Heartstopper is available on Netflix. Two seasons have already been announced.
