India Reynolds, a former Love Island contestant, has revealed what she would change to make the reality dating show more supportive for Islanders.
Exclusively speaking to D, India spoke about her new Pour Moi lingerie collection. She also talked about her time on Love Island.
India Reynolds recognizes that producers want good content, but she believes everyone should feel comfortable speaking to someone if they need it.
It’s difficult because they are making a TV series and they want great TV. She said that they don’t always want everything to go smoothly in the villa.
“But, I think from a welfare perspective, definitely. Everybody needs support, everyone should know that they can go to anyone if they have a question.
“It’s easy to feel that certain people are having a better time than others when you’re in there.”
The reality star spoke out about why she was initially involved in the campaign for her lingerie brand, “India Loves Pour Moi” and also praised the inclusion of the brand, something that she previously criticised Love Island as lacking.
“I have been working with Pour Moi for seven years. She shared that she used to model for them long ago.
They were always very celebratory about changes in my body, weight gain or loss. It’s amazing that they still work with me.
“I loved the fact that they celebrated women from all walks of life. We had some great shoots together and I felt like I was a good friend. They offered me the chance to participate in the collection pre-Love Island.
