Le Mec had planned to murder the Devil however, Lucifer intervened to stop Rory from taking him down and turning into her own version of Devil (complete including Lucifer’s appearance). But Lucifer’s kidnapping and saving from Rory was the reason the reason he disappears from Rory’s future.
