Tourists have diverse interests and degrees of daringness. Some vacationers choose to relax by the pool, but others seek adrenaline-pumping activities. This book is intended for thrill-seeking visitors to Sin City who are looking for a little bit of an adventure. Plan the most exciting and unforgettable outdoor activities in Las Vegas by reading on.

The Most Exciting Outdoor Activities in and Around Las Vegas

In Las Vegas and its environs, there are several opportunities for adrenaline-pumping activities. The proximity of several lakes and (obviously) deserts near Las Vegas provides enough options for water sports and off-roading excursions. In addition, the famed Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street provide an abundance of activities that are certain to excite! Whether you choose to rent a jet ski or bungee jump from a renowned hotel, this list is for you if you are seeking action during your vacation to Las Vegas. Continue reading for ideas on the best adventure activities in and around Las Vegas.

Cross the Valley Of Fire on foot.

The 45-minute drive to the Valley of Fire, which is one of our favorite activities near Las Vegas, is one of our favorites. Observe ancient petroglyphs high above the rocks, photograph the BeeHives rock formation, and take in the breathtaking vistas from Rainbow Vista. Also, we are convinced that you have never seen hues as contrasted as those at the White Domes. It is not named “Fire Valley” for nothing. The Valley of Fire disproves the notion that the desert is an uninteresting region with little to see, contrary to popular belief. Discover why by spending the day or evening here on your own or with a guided tour. If you arrange a trip around the time of sunset, you will understand why this spot is so legendary. Remember to bring your hiking boots and drink!

The High Roller Ferris Wheel provides a unique perspective of Las Vegas.

The High Roller Ferris Wheel, located at the LINQ Hotel, is for thrill-seekers who want somewhat calmer thrills. There is no guilt in doing so! The awe-inspiring Ferris wheel is known as the High Roller, and it carries passengers 550 feet into the air, where they can see the city lights below. This 28-cabin trip moves rather slowly, allowing you to take photos for Instagram. The High Roller is a delightful pastime at any time of day, but it is particularly spectacular after dusk! If you are traveling with young explorers, they are welcome to accompany you on this ride, since it is suitable for all ages. However, adults have the opportunity to purchase a package that includes an open bar, allowing them to toast their friends to the vistas of Las Vegas below. Cost: $23.50 – $34.75 for adults; $8.50 – $17.50 for kids; $60.00 for open bar.

Ride An Inverted Roller Coaster Inspired By New York City

The Big Apple Coaster, which is attached to the New York New York Hotel & Casino, travels at 64 miles per hour and contains twists, turns, and a 203-foot drop! This renowned roller coaster suspends riders upside down over the Las Vegas Strip for a short while! Children who are at least 54 inches tall are permitted to ride Big Apple Coaster (4-and-a-half feet). This roller coaster is a popular among thrill-seekers as it attracts 1,400,000 riders annually. Just avoid eating a heavy meal before cycling! This is a great way to spend some of your casino winnings when you visit the New York New York Hotel. Check out GentingCasino.com to practice your casino skills.

The Big Apple Coaster is open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday through Sunday. Cost: $19 – $23

The Slotzilla Zipline takes you high above Fremont Street.

Fremont Street Experience is a hub of entertaining activities where tourists may discover downtown Las Vegas in various ways. The Slotzilla Zipline is one of our favorite adventurous activities at this location. The ride starts outside of the Fremont Street Experience, 77 feet above Fremont Street, before passing under the world’s biggest television screen. The standard technique to ride this zipline is gliding 11 floors above the street for 5 blocks in a Superman-like fashion. Some thrill-seekers prefer the Zip-Zilla experience, where riders zipline for just 2 blocks and 7 storeys above the ground. Slotzilla is a spectacular way to experience Fremont Street, regardless of the height you pick, making it a must-do adventure activity in Las Vegas. Cost: $39-$59

    Supercar races with your friends

Now is your opportunity to experience what it’s like to compete in a supercar! Exotics Racing allows you to drive a Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Mustang, or the supercar of your dreams. They boast the world’s greatest collection of supercars, so it’s a fair guarantee that you can drive your dream vehicle! You may reserve a place as a passenger in a supercar if you want to experience the excitement of high-speed driving without having to drive yourself. If you have children with you, they may explore the go-kart course while you drive a Lamborghini. This activity is very popular in Las Vegas, so it would be wise to schedule it in advance! $299 for five laps

Ride Through The Desert On Horseback

Book a horseback excursion into the desert to live out your wild west dreams. Start your day off well by trotting around the tranquil desert with amazing views of the mountains at dawn or dusk. Never rode horses before? No worries! This trip is supervised by guides who will assist you in traversing even the most rough terrain on a well-trained, friendly horse. Booking a dawn or sunset trip is the greatest way to experience this Las Vegas adventure activity during the summer months, when riding in the desert may rapidly get quite hot. In all circumstances, the day’s crucial meal is provided, making the experience even more memorable. In this arid western area, horseback riding is almost a rite of passage, so don’t miss out on this enjoyable hobby!

    Snorkel With Stingrays

Even though you’re in the desert, this activity is entertaining for children and adults who are captivated by marine life. At SeaQuest, you may snorkel with stingrays, and if you’re fortunate, you may even get stingray kisses! More fish and marine life will be in the tank with you. SeaQuest will equip you with a wetsuit; however, you must provide your own swimwear and towel. This expedition is suitable for families, and there is no minimum age requirement. Please note, however, that every daring snorkeler must be able to swim 100 feet. Young explorers who cannot swim may snorkel with stingrays, but they must be accompanied by an adult and wear a life jacket. Other enjoyable activities here include feeding animals and aquatic life. Cost is $49.99 per individual for a shared experience and $249.95 per group for a personalized outing (up to 6 participants)

Dangle or jump off the strait

Certainly, every visitor to Las Vegas has seen the legendary STRAT hotel. However, have they ever leaped from it? Be the first of your friends to check out this Las Vegas adventure activity. At SkyJump, you may leap from an 829-foot structure! And if bungee jumping is not your thing, but you still want to enjoy the world’s most renowned thrill rides? Strap yourself into the Big Shot and you’ll be catapulted over the side of the STRAT, or choose the Insanity ride and you’ll be dangling off the edge of the building. Alternately, you may be sent 27 feet over the edge on the X-Scream roller coaster, which abruptly stops in mid-air. Yikes! Regardless of the excitement you want, the STRAT offers rides that will get your heart racing. Monday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., are the hours of operation for all four thrill rides. SkyJump costs $139, whereas each of the other thrill coasters costs just $39.
