When people think of drug lords, they often think of a Breaking Bad actor. After watching a recent episode on HBO’s Euphoria, viewers are beginning to realize that one of the new additions to this season’s series is more dangerous than they initially thought. Laurie, who was Fez’s supplier Mouse, is featured in the Euphoria Season 2 premiere. Fez, Ashtray and Rue stop by her home before heading to the New Year’s Party. Laurie’s goons force them to strip so they can prove they aren’t wearing wires. Fez also has to explain Mouse’s sudden disappearance.
In 3 of Season 3, Laurie is again reunited with Rue. Rue runs out drugs and realizes that she has no other options. Rue suggests to Laurie one of her most stupid moves. She’ll sell drugs through her high school friends, and Laurie will get a substantial return on her investment. Laurie does not ask many questions, and just hands Rue a suitcase containing $10,000 worth of drugs. Making a deal to buy drugs from a dealer is like making an agreement with the devil. Laurie promises Rue that if Rue does not pay, Laurie will sell Rue to “some really sick people.”
Episode 5 Rue is closest to the fulfillment of that promise. While running from her mother, Laurie visits Laurie’s house in withdrawal. Laurie claims she needs the money in cash after robbing someone’s house. Rue is unable to get the money in a timely manner because…
Rue stays the night after Laurie injects her with morphine. She then flees the house, hoping to escape Laurie. Laurie isn’t content to let Rue go. This is not the end of straight-faced dealers.

Who plays Laurie in Euphoria
Martha Kelly plays Laurie in Euphoria. The 53-year old comedian is best known for her role as Laurie in Baskets. Her acting career began back in 2016. She has starred in many notable films, including Spider-Man Homecoming, Marriage Story and, as well as the show American Gods. On the animated adult show The Great North, she voices Bethany.
Kelly’s memorable role in Euphoria shows that we will soon see her in larger roles. We’ll need to wait for the upcoming Euphoria episodes to see more this dark, boring character.
