Love Island star Liam Reardon has shared information regarding his split from Millie Court, revealing that the couple split up so the self-love he had been seeking was his priority.
The couple met in the 2021’s Love Island, going on to take home the competition before they parted ways this summer..
Then, Liam has taken the chance to be for Celebs go Dating as well as revealed his feelings to dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson about his split.
When Paul asked Paul about their previous relationship and who was the one who had called time, Liam shared: “I initiated the idea… in order for us to be likely to remain together to allow me to fall in love with her, I have to take care of myself. The last several months are quite… well… I have to find myself once more.”
He also spoke about the way in which the couple dealt in the aftermath of their decision to break up by revealing the fact that Millie was “upset as I was” after which he added: “One of the things was that we’ve had an incredible time together, and you’re not wanting to see it end, but… that’s difficult to make the decision.”
He admitted that his life become more complicated since appearing in the show, and after falling in love with Millie on the set, he couldn’t acknowledge his past “The life I had isn’t even close to being there. It’s been a rollercoaster. I’ve been through a small life in Wales as a bricklayer , to being thrust into this new lifestyle and I was a bit overwhelmed.” Millie Court
However, the reality TV star claimed that their breakup was not necessarily a final one: “I just feel like never say never. You know there’s a chance that we might be able to, you know, we could revive.”
Liam has also voiced similar feelings previously and said: “I definitely haven’t ruled out this because I’m aware of her ethics and the values she’s got in her, and that’s something I’d want to see from the case of a wife.”
