Bad news, Netflix lovers – After much backing and forthing The Order Season 3 was officially cancelled. The fate of the show was still up in the air at the end season 2, but it has been cancelled.
It’s unfortunate, considering that the team behind the series wanted it to continue. Chad Oakes, executive producer of the series, spoke about his hopes and dreams during a Comic-Con@Home panel.

His Twitter bio states: “Cancelling This Order was not my decision.”
“Contact Netflix.”
The statement is a testament to how passionate the fanbase is. Some are demanding that the Order at least see an end, if not a complete revival.
Heaton also shared some of his plans (though we don’t know if it was real or a joke). He later wrote: “PS- Jack was completely going to raise Alyssa, but she was going back wrong.” Pet Sematary is also wrong. Zecchia may have been the one who possessed her. A whole lot of other corpses were also coming back with her.”
Although the true cause of the cancellation is unknown, it is often due to Netflix’s inability to meet its expectations for viewership growth.
In 2020, however, the streaming service was more ruthless than usual in its approach to the future shows. Many were cancelled within a single season.
