Ondas announced today that revenue fell 54% during the third quarter due to lower sales. In addition, the company posted losses in the amount of $0.13 for each diluted share during the quarter, as compared to analysts’ consensus estimates of losing $0.09 for each share.
“The third quarter marked an important transition for Ondas Networks as we moved from investment mode to platform delivery and adoption,” Ondas’ CEO, Eric Brock, said in an announcement in the press.
Despite the disappointing earnings investors might be reacting positively to the third quarter performance today, since the company announced it had received an initial commercial contract for a railroad-based communications network from Siemens Mobility.
The company also stated that it had received four additional products development requests through Siemens Mobility, including one for “the development of a new locomotive telemetry radio for a major Asian Rail customer.”
