Outlander season 7 release is coming soon, but unlike Claire, it’s not as simple as jumping ahead in time to see the new episodes.
Outlander’s sixth season was released on Starz/Starzplay March 2022. It continues the adventures of the Frasers, their family and friends, who attempt to live a quiet, peaceful life in 18th century North Carolina.
Their lives are not peaceful, and the Revolutionary War is on the horizon.

Outlander season 7 release date: When will it be out?
Seasons five and six were plagued by a 21-month drought. Thankfully, fans won’t be as anxious for season seven.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy Maril Davis, Outlander boss, confirmed that they had begun shooting season seven in May 2022. Although Davis was hesitant to say when it would be on our screens, she said that they had a “fairly typical schedule” and that this season will be “supersized”.

Balfe revealed to Digital Spy that they would be filming season 6 for 13 months. This would put us up to May 2023.
We would expect to see the episodes shortly after that. Unfortunately, 2023 is likely to be the last episode.

Outlander Season 7: What’s the plot?
Season 6 ended with some huge cliffhangers, which will be repeated in season 7.
Claire is currently in Wilmington, and she could be brought to trial for Malva’s murder. If she is found guilty, she would be sentenced and hanged.
Jamie, on the other hand, was just rescued from Richard Brown’s Committee of Safety. He is now en route to save her with Young Ian Myers and John Quincy Myers, apparently planning another prison break. He rescued her from Fort William season one. She rescued him from Wentworth season one and the Bastille season two.
