Scruff-A-Luvs is set to be the hottest toy for the Christmas season. The engaging, fun toy animals are so well-loved that they’re already selling out even weeks before Black Friday.
For those unfamiliar, the Scruff-A-Luvs are the latest toys of the Little Live Pets brand, controlled by its parent firm Moose Toys, the business behind the well-known Shopkins collection of collectables.
Little Live Scruff A-Luvs are in that category called “mystery pet.” They begin as unrecognizable hairy balls.
If your child gives their baths, dries them, and combs their fur, a Scruff A-Luv transforms into a well-known puppy, kitten, or rabbit. (Not knowing the kind of animal you’ll get is the reason for the excitement; also, it’s the best method to keep children wanting to get their hands on the entire assortment.)

The tiny blue Scruff A-Luvs are already being sold out at Walmart. The pink Scruff A-Luv is available on Walmart’s website via third-party sellers. It’s quite a high price (over three times the price).
Amazon is still carrying the two colours of Scruff-A-Luvs available, starting with prices of $19.99 to purchase the pink Scruff-a-Luv and $19.72 in the case of the blue Scruff-aLuv. Additionally, Amazon just announced that all customers — even those who aren’t Amazon Prime members — receive complimentary shipping for all items during the holiday season of 2018 and no requirement for a minimum purchase.
On Monday, the price on Amazon for the blue Scruff A-Luvs was lower than $18, which could be due to it being in line with Walmart’s prices or even undercutting it. Therefore, prices for Scruff-A-Luvs could differ based on where and when you buy, and deals could be available. In addition, a higher price is very likely. The limited-edition purple Scruff-Aluv, still available on Amazon’s marketplace of sellers, can cost $28.99 currently.
Target is also still carrying Scruff-A-Luvs in the store at $19.99, and they’re available in blue and pink variants. There’s also a Scruff-A-Luv in Best Buy for $19.99; however, the description “styles could differ” means that you won’t just be amazed by the creatures inside and what colour it will receive in addition.
