Love Island star Amber Gill has confirmed she did indeed appear in a tweet about “switching teams” on Twitter.
In an interview on the FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas, Gill told hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng that it was an “off-the-cuff moment” however, this proved to be “true”.
“I did exactly what I stated,” she added.
The month of July was when The Love Island winner tweeted: “Switching teams was the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life.” noting, “Watching men makes me feel sick. I can’t go through the same thing ever again.”
Many thought the tweet was Gill making public her comments even though the television personality hasn’t spoken about her remarks up to now.
“Accidentally I was reading the tweet and wondering what did I say,” she said.
“Like many of my friends, they were thinking, if you’re going to do it in any way, this is the normal way to do it. The majority of people have lovely gorgeous stories, stunning photos and beautiful stunning, authentic Instagram posts that are just gorgeous. I’ve switched teams on Twitter and that’s the way I ended up.”
Gill, who’s relationship with her fellow Islander Greg O’Shea only was for two weeks out of the house Gill has acknowledged that she is more selective when selecting the right partner.
“I am finding it extremely difficult, and I’m not able to say, like, I truly do not know the cause. However, I do know that I’m extremely picky. It’s like, I’m very tuned to what I like and dislike therefore I’m not sure whether that’s the motive,” she said.
Although she has said she’s not a “type” for ladies, Gill has revealed she is a breaker for men. amber love island
“I would be adamant when someone was posting on Instagram excessively, needing to snap photos of every thing. This is for guys although I don’t have as many issues in regards to women However, in the case of guys I’m much rougher.”
